Davido bang pepsi deal for good 2years

We only just heard about his new house!! Davido just announced the signing of a deal with top international beverage, Pepsi.

He first shared the news came via Snapchat of signing the deal with Paul O before he took it on to Instagram.

He said,

    New deal alert!!! My new Pepsi deal is sweeter than!!! 2 Years with the best!! Thank you Lord for your continuous blessings!!! @pepsi_naija !!!

Davido is also an ambassador for MTN, Close Up among other companies and he joins the ranks of Wizkid,lynxx, Seyi Shay and Tiwa Savage as Nigerian brand ambassadors for Pepsi.

Love in the air as Timi Dakolo drop song for wife

Timi Dakolo is a Nigerian musician with one of the finest sound out of Africa. Timi was born on January 20th 1981. Timi Dakolo was born in Accra in Ghana but he is originally a Niger delta man from Bayelsa state. He is presently one of the greatest soul music exports out of Nigeria. Like most of his colleagues in the music scene, Timi started off from the church. He joined a group called purple love and they had a great time together getting to headline small shows in Port Harcourt at the time. The group disbanded prior to the admission of some of the music acts to University of Port Harcourt.

King of vocals, Timi Dakolo, two hours ago, showed the world and his forever vixen (Love Love Love by the way) just how much he does love her the number 1 way he knows how to.

The talented entertainer shared a video of hismelf singing to his wife as she made to drive off to work this morning.

The couple just celebrated their four years together as a married couple some days back

Nigeria Entertainment Awards (NEA Awards), the continent’s premier Entertainment Awards for Nigerians and Africans has announced the call to entry for the 2016 edition of the NEAs.

Tope Esan, Executive Producer, NEA Awards, said: “We are pleased to announce the call to entry for the 2016 edition of the NEAs. Over the years, we have solidified our staple categories and at the same time we keep redefining some categories in order to adjust to industry changes. This year, we have added some new categories to cover certain entertainment segments that have proven to last the test of time and now worthy of recognition. For the 11th edition of the NEAs, we are inviting all entries for works that have been made public from May 1st 2015 to April 30th 2016.”

The NEAs was created to celebrate the amazing talent and contributions of Nigerian and African Entertainers to a thriving global entertainment industry while also serving as a bridge between the talents and their international fan base.

Azeem Jolasun, Executive Producer, NEA Awards, said: “We are very excited about this years NEAs especially as we redirect our focus back to our core vision as an organization, which is to provide great entertainment for Nigerians and Africans from the global entertainment capital, New York City. The 2016 edition of NEAs will make it eleven years of celebrating Nigeria’s finest entertainment talents.”

Speaking on the event specific preparation, Cosmas Collins, Executive Producer, NEA Awards, said: “Preparations have begun for the 11th NEAs, we are looking at ways to expand on what we have established for the last 10 years. We are looking at bigger venues and working to deliver bigger production for this year’s event.”

The NEAs has drawn the biggest names from the continent’s entertainment industry and this year promises to be elevated to another level.

For the 11th edition of the NEAs, the organizers are inviting all entries for works publicly exhibited from May 1st 2015 to April 30th 2016.

Kidnappers arrested in Ohafia,Abia state

Kidnapping Syndicate Busted in Ohafia,Abia state (Photos)

Troops of 14 Brigade Garrison based in Ohafia, on Sunday 10th March 2016 conducted operation aimed and bursting a notorious kidnapping syndicate based in Nkporo community of Ohafia Local Government Area of Abia State.

During the operation, the troops were able to rescue victim who was earlier shot and kidnapped by his abductors at Aba on 6th April 2016. However one of the suspected kidnappers Mr Chidiebere Sunday was apprehended while 2 of his suspected accomplices escaped. One other member of the gang in a bid to evade arrest through the roof of their den fell from a roof, hit his head on the hard floor and died.

The troops recovered the following items from the kidnappers; 2 AK-47 rifles, 9 AK-47 rifle magazine loaded with 124 rounds of 7.62mm Special ammunition, 1 Pistol, 2 rounds of 9mm ammunition, 2 machetes and the sum of Five Million, Four Hundred and Ninety Thousand Naira (N5,490,000.00) only. Other items recovered include a Toyota RAV4 jeep with registration number MUS 428 RZ, military camouflage jungle hat, 6 mobile telephone handsets, an iPad, Diamond Bank Debit Card, bunch of different keys, 2 empty bags and a wrap of suspected marijuana.
